My forehead is green because I believe that we as individuals should always be thinking about what we can do in our own little way to help the environment.

What made you decide to do your bit for the environment?

I am a father of a young boy. When I was growing up I had the opportunity to fish and explore many areas of Canada. As an adult I have visited these areas on and off over the years and I am disappointed to see how some of these areas have been damaged by pollution and development. I want my son to grow up enjoying the outdoors as I did. I am happy and willing to do whatever I can for the environment so his generation can enjoy it also.

What person or group do you most admire for their environmental commitment?

I admire Mr. David Suzuki (and the David Suzuki Foundation) for his pro-environment stance and for educating Canadians on environmental issues.

What is your environmental pet peeve? What do other people do (or not do) that drives you crazy?

Plain and simple – it drives me crazy when people litter; whether it is on a street, in a park or in the forest. There are garbage cans everywhere people – use them!

What could the whole world live without in order to help our environment?

Driving a bit less and using public transit or a bike it a bit more.

What's in your Blue Box?

Besides newspapers, fliers, junk mail and plastic bottles and bags, it also serves as a comfy nap place for my cat named Toes.
