My mind is green because awareness starts in the conscious mind and awareness is important in making change. Ideas come from the mind and it is innovation that will get us to a place where we can sustain change. Sharing ideas and making people aware is the beginning of getting a unified support system for making necessary and effective changes for our environment.
What made you decide to do your bit for the environment?
Realizing the beauty and wonder that is around me everyday. Also understanding there are things that are bigger and more important than we are.
What person or group do you most admire for their environmental commitment?
The World Wildlife Fund, because to me they are protecting the key to our ecosystem. David Suzuki is someone I admire for his efforts in awareness and personal commitment to our environment.
What is your environmental pet peeve? What do other people do (or not do) that drives you crazy?
Change will not start from an individual level. It will take a push from our larger organizations to make individuals change but I will say people who don't think that the problems are real drive me nuts.
What could the whole world live without in order to help our environment?
SUVs.
What's in your Blue Box?
Bottles and cans.
Is there an environmental initiative you're involved in that you'd like to highlight or promote?
Not currently however, I am looking into ways I can support the WWF with my music and I try to be aware of new things I can do to make a difference.
